"walking towards an endless path with nostalgic memories"
Hello! Az3 here.
It feels weird to join on an event that you were involved to observe and moderate.
But aside from that, I just feel like it is right to make an entry for this event.
Since the last time that someone hosted a 5-key only event was from 20 years ago, I figured out to make a song out of nostalgia.
Hence, nostajue (Nostalgic Journey).
Also, the sample at the start of the song might have sounded familiar to some of you.
And with that, I want to say a special thanks to Lamanya for providing information about the sample at the beginning of Q33B, which later ended up being the sample at the start of the song.
I asked for permission for the usage of the sample, and it turns out that the chord was from a Glitch HipHop sample pack from Splice, which is a really fascinating fact!
But still, I want to give special thanks to Lamanya! ^^
I also followed some 5-Key charting advice that some of you have provided me from my past entries.
And I tried my best to make the best possible 5K chart out of a slow hiphop song that is fun to play.
So, I hope you enjoy.
Additionaly, I want to point out that the patterns from 5K Insane would not be playable for older clients like BM98.
But for 5K Hard and lower, it should be playable.
5K Very Hard might be a bit of a gray area due to the "ruze" notes.
So, I might request for more additional feedback.
And finally, I plan on adding a sabun for a harder 5K than 5K Insane.
My aim for that is to fit the charting standard from "AeRy" 5K BMS.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
The theme for the entry is not just about "Nostalgic Journey", but it is also "Embracing what you had in the past".
--------------------- Difficulty ---------------------
(5key)
5K Easy - * (1)
5K Normal - *** (3)
5K Hard - ***** (5)
5K Very Hard - ****** (6)
5K Insane - ********* (9)
