Speaking at first, I am honoured to invite *COSMOS for DP Charts
I'm pleased to hear Toho Ondan Yugi 10 will hold in Augest in Winter Holiday. How the time pasted fast, I decided to participate this event I have got a flash-idea. Listening to Jizo Dakega Shiru Aitan - ZUN, I got a flash-idea with a Toho arrangement with Drum n' bass and piano to expand into a story of presistant according to the legend of Senzu, a fictional river.
That legend told a fetus died in birth, the soul of fetus would banish on the shore of Senzu, and bulit a cobble-tower. In the whole period of buliding, there are a lot of factor make tower falling down such as gale, monster and so on, until tower finith.
Firstly, I needed to get the midi of the origenal. Searching over the forum and wikidot, I finally found midi in a forum. In the short vacation before Mid-semaster Examiation, I made a brief draft and script by using midi. In my expactation, the origenal adapt into a drum n' bass within piano and violin is perfect. And that music repeated in my mind again and again in the last few week before ECMT. After that, I started my work immidiatally. I set a bpm changing in the whole song like 184-188-184-176 ,showing a sorrow with a sequential slowing-down. And set a 176-46-184 to making a bridge between two part of partten. Then occasionally, I aquired a whole structure and a insprement from other song with genre called Artcore. Making a wild dicision, I attmpted to mix artcore and toho origenal together.
In the precudure of composition, I using a kind of chrous called ohh and a synthetic pad timber by Serum to make a atomosphere of soul and scared. Then using two drum-loop set in amen break, I made whole song in a fragment. And I used 808kick and some hat to revert whole structure in that vacation. And using two set of piano with different style, and violin as lead of whole structure. At same time, using three set of bass with different timber and destortion as a base on the basic structure. Additionally, I also set some SFX and synth to make music plumper. When I finished, some friend found that there some problem in tune severely. And I had fixed those problem by learn basic music theory. I have tried my best to make music more harmony.
Secondly, after music compision, in a short stage of bms-making. I must make a plan in Music Video making. Using the background of origenal game. Making a mind-storm,I made a 3D animation in Blender and combine with After Effect, atomosphered a shot of soul flying. Then using some oldskool style black-and-white picture on the layer of animation. Also, I invited a friend assisted some work in Music Video. By the way, maybe making Music Video by my own was unwisely, but this would give me a chance to improve myself.
